Exceptions for India, Bangladesh and Maldives, all the travelers to Bhutan require a Visa. Visa can only be obtained through a licensed Tour operator after having made the full payment in advance. And the Air ticket to Bhutan will only be issued after the issuance of the Visa. Bhutanese Embassy and Missions abroad do not issue Visa for private visitors to Bhutan. To confirm the Visa and Air tickets, the visitors visiting during the peak season must make their full payment more than one month in advance and during the off season, the full payment must be made not less than twenty days in advance. In incase their tour is cancelation; their payment made will be refunded after deducting the bank charges and other service charges. But the visitors have to let us know immediately as and when they decide to cancel their tour. To apply for the visa, the visitor can either send us the copy of their passport or simply fill up the form below and send us along with the copy of their passport. Their names must be filled in block letter as same as it is mentioned in their passport.

VISITING BHUTAN
All visitors must book through one of the Government recognized travel agents only such as us. All confirmed bookings should be made at least 8 weeks in advance.

ENTRY/EXIT BHUTAN
Entering points into Bhutan are by road through Phuentsholing in the south or by air from Paro. Druk Air, the National Carrier is linked to four cities in three countries which are Bangkok, Calcutta, New Delhi and Kathmandu. The DRUK AIR schedule can be obtained at www.drukair.com.bt. Exit can also be made through Samdrupjongkhar which is the frontier town and onto Guwahati to connect to Indian Airlines. However as per the government’s rule one-way travel has to be made by Druk Air.

VISA
The tour operator will apply for the visa on getting all the passport details from the clients, which will be required at least 6 weeks to enable to process the visa. The actual visa will only be stamped on arrival in Bhutan on payment of US$ 20 for a period of 2 weeks which can be extended on payment of additional US$ 15. All visitors will need 3 passport size photographs. It is mandatory to get the visa clearance before departing for Bhutan which have to be shown at the concerned overseas Druk Air stations.
